Mr. Mulvihill attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU, graduating in 2021. While there, Mr. Mulvihill focused his studies on energy and environmental law, taking classes such as Toxic Torts, Mineral Rights, Climate Change, Utility Regulation and a few others. Mr. Mulvihill was also very active in the mock trial, moot court, and dispute resolution competitions, competing in at least 12 separate competitions, both internally against classmates and externally against other law schools. Mr. Mulvihill won the Transactional Competition and made it to Regional Finals for the ABA Negotiation competition while attending law school. During law school, Mr. Mulvihill interned with Louisiana Sea Grant, working on Clean Water Act and sustainability matters.

Following law school, Mr. Mulvihill was licensed in the State of Texas but began working with a limited license for the 2nd Judicial District Attorney’s office here in Albuquerque. His time with the DA’s office was spent prosecuting misdemeanor metropolitan cases consisting primarily of DWI charges and domestic violence charges. He prosecuted several bench trials and a jury trial while there.

Following his time at the DA’s office, Mr. Mulvihill then joined the City of Albuquerque as an Assistant City Attorney for the Air Quality Program. He provided counsel on various Air Quality and administrative matters ranging from participating in enforcement actions to conducting rulemaking efforts to providing general counsel on federal, state and local laws governing Air Quality requirements. From there, Mr. Mulvihill has joined Robles, Rael & Anaya where he looks forward to continuing his legal career.

In his free time, Mr. Mulvihill enjoys spending time with family, pets, and friends, watching football, hiking in nature, building Legos and reading SciFi.
