Robles, Rael & Anaya, P.C. helps establish the Southwest’s first clean transportation fuel market
Robles, Rael & Anaya, P.C. successfully represented the Climate Change Bureau of the New Mexico Environment Department before the New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board in the development, implementation, and defense of the Clean Transportation Fuel Program, one of the state’s most significant clean energy initiatives.
Following a unanimous vote adopting 20.2.92 NMAC, New Mexico’s Clean Transportation Fuel Program, New Mexico officially established the Southwest’s first low-carbon transportation fuel credit market. The program is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while encouraging investment in cleaner transportation fuels, infrastructure, and emerging technologies throughout the state.
The Clean Transportation Fuel Program is expected to create new economic opportunities while advancing New Mexico’s long-term environmental and public health goals.
