Robles, Rael & Anaya, P.C. successfully defends state procurement decision on appeal

Robles, Rael & Anaya, P.C. successfully defended the New Mexico General Services Department in an administrative appeal arising from a statewide procurement for interpretation and translation services.

The appeal challenged the State Purchasing Agent’s decision to disqualify an offeror from the procurement process after the offeror failed to comply with mandatory solicitation requirements and later filed an untimely protest.

Following a hearing on the merits, the First Judicial District Court affirmed the State Purchasing Agent’s decision in full, concluding that the disqualification and denial of the protest were supported by substantial evidence and consistent with New Mexico procurement law.

The decision reinforces the importance of strict compliance with procurement requirements and confirms the integrity of New Mexico’s competitive procurement process.
